CHRIS BRIGHT AWARD - For Apprentices

Chris Bright has been an amazing part of the Apprenticeship Program for many, many years, and retired in 2010. Mr. Bright brought forth dedication, a positive attitude, and hard work to make the Program what it is today. This award is just that - -to CONGRATULATE a Dedicated, Hardworking and Positive Apprenticeship Student Graduating from our 3 Year Program.

GARY MACLEOD AWARD - For Apprentices

Gary began teaching the third year of the ACCA/CF Apprenticeship program in 1993, and he has been an intricate part of the success of the program since he got involved. Gary takes the success of his students very seriously. In 2010, Gary took over the coordination of the program because he had such a heart to see it continue to succeed.

Through his untiring efforts, he has brought the Orange County School system and the ACCA/CF association to work together as never before. He has held the program together during a very difficult economy, and he has built the program to record numbers of apprentices in recent years. This doesn’t happen all by itself.

Gary has done an outstanding job of building a long-lasting legacy, and he has changed many lives for the better during his time at the helm. In the past few years, Gary fought a long battle with health issues and Cancer - and we were blessed to be a part of his journey.

That is why the Gary Macleod Achievement Award was created - Always Striving for Success!
